The North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) project, announced by Qatar Energy in April 2017, aims to maintain long-term gas production from the North Field, operated by Qatargas, and is located off the northeast coast of Qatar’s peninsula. The North Field is one of the world’s largest non-associated natural gas fields.
